Legalization of Documents

The Embassy provides legalization of document services in the form of Attestation and Notarization, see below for details: Attestation The applicant has to complete the following:

1. Submit the document / certificate bearing the stamp and a signature from Guyana’s Foreign Ministry
2. Deposit USD$25 per attestation to the Embassy’s USD account
3. The Embassy then adds its attestation to the document / certificate, below that of Guyana’s Foreign Ministry.
4. The applicant is then contacted to uplift same or sent via their courier.

Notarization The applicant has to complete the following:

1. Submit the document bearing their signature
2. Deposit USD$50 per notarization to the Embassy’s USD account
3. The Embassy then stamps the document next to the applicant’s signature and relevant personnel signs.
4. The applicant is then contacted to uplift same or sent via their courier.
