Visa Categories
Business Visa
- Valid passport
- Two (2) duly completed and signed copies of the application form
- Two (2) recent passport-size colour photographs
- An invitation letter from a host/registered company in Guyana stating the purpose and duration of the applicant’s visit
- A job letter stating the length of employment and position of the applicant
- Two (2) copies of the passport bio-data page
- Any other supporting documents which the Embassy deems appropriate
Visitor Visa
- Valid passport
- Two (2) duly completed and signed copies of the application form
- Two (2) recent passport-size colour photographs
- Two (2) copies of the passport bio-data page
- Proof of financial support
- Letter of invitation/sponsorship from host in Guyana and a copy of their national ID
- Hotel/apartment reservation (if applicable)
- Letter from a Travel Agency stating the program/itinerary (for group tours)
Courtesy Visas
- Valid passport
- Letter of invitation
- Two (2) duly completed and signed copies of the application form
- Two (2) recent passport-size colour photographs
- Two (2) copies of the passport bio-data page
Note: Courtesy visas are issued free of charge to visiting delegations, at the discretion of the Embassy.
Employment Visas
- Valid passport
- Two (2) duly completed and signed copies of the application
- Two (2) recent passport-size colour photographs
- Two (2) copies of the passport bio-data page
- Name and contact information of sponsor/employer as well as copies of the business registration or GRA compliance documents
Student Visas
- Valid passport
- Two (2) duly completed and signed copies of the application
- Two (2) recent passport-size colour photographs
- Two (2) copies of the passport bio-data page
- Name and contact information (address, telephone and fax numbers) of a registered/accredited institution where studies will be done
- Letter of acceptance from school or accredited institution
- Address and phone numbers of intended place of residence in Guyana
- Evidence of financial support
